Influences: The Smiths, The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, the Magnetic Fields, Joy Division and Belle & Sebastion.
Sounds: "A marriage of Americana with sometimes over-the-top 80's production with candid lyrics a la Stuart Murdoch and humor," Brown said.
Describe the Oklahoma Scene: "A lot of pride, a lot of hard work," Brown said. "There's a big hard work ethic that most live by and work by. I think it has a lot to do with where their coming from; not many are handed much and most have to work really hard for what they get. There's definitely respect for all involved."
Up Next: With collaborator Casey Friedman producing, Brown hopes to put together a demo he's "happy with," shop it around to indie labels and see what happens. "We're just going to try and record a bunch of songs." Brown said.
